What's waiting inside?

A modern bouldering gym in Debrecen: varied walls, colour-coded routes, rental gear and a friendly community. Come in and look around!

Gear rental

  • Climbing shoes
  • Chalk (liquid, powder)

Walls and sectors

Low overhangs, vertical sectors, serious projects. Every route is colour-coded by difficulty, so you can tell at a glance which one is yours — and which one is worth coming back for in a few weeks.

What should you bring?

Workout clothes, flip-flops for walking around (café, bathroom, changing room), and a good mood. If you have your own climbing shoes and chalk, bring them. If not, you can rent at the reception. For your first visit clean indoor trainers will do, but climbing shoes make the small footholds noticeably easier.

Changing rooms and showers

Spacious changing rooms, hot showers and lockable lockers.

Bouldering vs. rope climbing:
so what is bouldering?

No ropesMax. 4.5 m heightThick crash pads

So what exactly is bouldering?

In short: climbing without ropes.

“And is that safe?”

Absolutely.

Our boulder walls are at most 4.5 metres high, with colourful holds and thick crash pads running underneath the whole wall.

You can climb the marked routes freely — a bit like a ladder — or pick a colour: a route built by a setter (the person who designs the routes).

The colour marks the difficulty of the routes:

  • Some you'll send on your very first try.
  • And some you'll work on stubbornly for weeks — and get a massive dopamine hit when you finally top them.

Corporate team building, or just unwinding with colleagues?

Sport and play are the best ways to get to know another person.

In front of a boulder wall it quickly shows who helps whom, how people cooperate — and how they compete. Over a few hours of team building, colleagues solve problems together, cheer each other on, and walk away with genuinely memorable shared experiences.

Complete beginners? No problem.

No prior experience needed — everyone climbs at their own level. We can organise team-building events for groups of 15 or more.

Competitions and events

At CSIPI we don't just climb: we build a community, because we think there's incredible value in that — even if, in the middle of the flat Great Plain, it sometimes feels like we're moving against a headwind. :)

We regularly host competitions, film screenings, route-showcase evenings, or simply parties whenever there’s a good occasion.

If you want to drop into Debrecen's climbing life — beginner or advanced — this calendar is the place to start.
